Meetings
KNSFPCL creates market linkages to ensure farmers receive fair prices for their produce and enhances their bargaining power through collective marketing. We also ensure that payments for sold goods are transferred to women's accounts, empowering them to take the lead in financial decisions.
KNSFPCL also hosts a market (Mondi) for finger millet in collaboration with TDCC Odisha every year.
In the agriculture sector, KNSFPCL provides farmers with quality inputs such as seeds and pesticides. Additionally, we guide farmers in modern agricultural methods and collaborate with government departments for convergence on initiatives like seed distribution.
In the livestock sector, we assist farmers by providing quality inputs such as feed, dewormers, vaccines, and other necessary medicines. Additionally, we offer training on ethnoveterinary practices to help reduce maintenance costs.
We also operate brooding units where one-day-old chicks are raised for up to one month before being sold to farmers.
KNSFPCL organizes its Annual General Meeting (AGM) every year, with participation from all shareholders.
We also organize meetings at various institutional levels, such as SHGs, VOs, and PGs, to understand the farmers' situations, needs and provides necessary requirements.
Processing unit
We operate a vegetable drying processing unit in Nandapur, where vegetables such as ginger, cabbage, pumpkin, and curry leaves are dehydrated and sold to various vendors and institutional buyers like Parvata Foods. All these activities are carried out by Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
